On tap at Curious Gnome, Chester. Pours a straw yellow with a medium sized foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s sugar, honey and malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a little underlying sharpness. Initial flavour has malts, corn and biscuits with some citrus, bitterness and alcoholic strength coming through later. Finish is slightly sharp. Overall this is decent, but still disappointing. Given the quality of the standard beer I was expecting something special.

Transparent, deep golden colour, the slightest orangeish hue. Average sized white head, good enough retention, pretty much no lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: hay and crackery malts base, a relatively vivid grassy hops presence, a hint of fruitiness (something kind of in between citric and overripe, hard to pick something specific though), also a sort of dry/tannic background feel. Taste notes more or less follow the aroma: average intensity, a well defined taste profile, not much depth/complexity; gets indeed quite dry/tannic in finish and aftertaste, with a bit of metallic taste showing up (though in check); a hint of alcohol is detectable, doesn't seem to bring warmth though. Medium body, average or slightly below average carbonation; drinks quite easy for the abv, sort of feels like a very neutral mouthfeel. Dunno: the overall impression is somehow worse than the sum of it's parts; certainly better than the common industrial strong lager, but still doesn't feel like a proper, finely made beer.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit dusty bitter, dusty grainy though very balanced and pleasant lager. 8-7-8-8-7

Tap at Billies. Clear golden. Sweet malts, bread crust, weedy hops, sugar, honey. Solid sweet, less bitter. Full bodied. Very good lager.

Probably same as the b.strong or Premium select.
33cl bottle at bar sarte.
Deep gold beer, intense colur, big white head. Nose lagery and wort, somewhat fruity.
Aroma has good amount of pilsner malts, some spoce and juicy, and a decent hops balance.
Taste initially sweetish, then an intense hoppy bitterness.
On palate is quite thick, oily texture, moderate carbonation, medium to full body, a bit sticky. Okish, whatever. --- Beer aliased from original tick of B:STRONG on 15 Apr 2012 at 10:10 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: 33cl bottle, about 1.50€, 7.6% as "Premier Select"
Dark gold beer, intense colour, small white head. Nose of saaz.
Aroma has good amount of pilsner malts, quite spicy and peppery, and a decent hops folding. Becomes "woody" and "rresiny" as it warms up. Alcohol is noticeable.
Taste initially sweetish, then an intense hoppy bitterness.
On palate is quite thick, oily texture, moderate carbonation, medium to full body, sticky lips.
Label says it’s bottled after 200 days of maturation, seems "aged" indeed. Strong pilsener, lacking of exceptional features as well as flaws.

Draught at Lauter, small bubbly head, clear and a bit deep gold colour, malty toasty with some honey behind, hint of yeastiness,, noticable sweetness with a light to medium mellow bitterness. Nice and drinkable. --- Beer aliased from original tick of B:STRONG on 13 Aug 2017 at 02:40 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 3 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 3.5. Original review text: Bottle sample at Beers 2017, smallish creamy head, clear quite deep yellow color, nutty biscuity aroma with a hint of vanila and cardboard, sweet malty candy flavor, light bitterness. Quite heavy and not good.

Bottle at Salon Piva. Tulsagosan is edesbe hajlik, alkoholos, mezes, gabonas. Alapvetoen nem lenne rossz, de aranytalan az edessege, es nincs ami ellensulyozza azt.

Aroma of sweet malts, hay, alcohol. Flavour is nasty malty sweetness with an alcohol punch. Another Imperial Pils failure.

Bottiglia.
