Falkoner New England IPA is a beautiful, deep-golden beer with delicate notes of citrus, lime, grapefruit, apricot and passion fruit. There are also distinct banana notes, which come from the Belgian ale yeast we add to the beer. The taste is spicy, full-bodied and fruity and tastes very much how it smells. Overall, it is a fresh, summery beer - a great drink to enjoy with friends on a lovely summer’s day.

Bottle. Hazy orange, offwhite to yellow head. citrus, dough, a little yellow flowers, faint malty. flavor is malty, a little bit herbal, but in a quite nice and fullbodied way, some hoppy and citrussy hoppy notes, crisp to bitter malts, a little bit of lagerish bitterness. not *that* bad, and does taste a bit like many other ørbæk beers.

ABV: 5.0%. Hazy matt medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity malt, light bread, light hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, fruity, candied apricot, light to moderate yeasty, fruity yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt - fruity malt, candied apricot - fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210513]

Bottle @ Home.Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light malt, light yeast, sweet fruity hops, peach. Flavor is light bitter, light tart, malt, yeast, very light sweet fruity hops, light banana, light peach. Meedium body, average carbonation, dry light bittter finish. 040521

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque oragey golden with a lacing, off-white head. Interesting, herbal/perfumy nose - but only if you take the deep sniff. Medium body, yeasty, fruity again slightly tart before a dry finish. Clearly Ørbæk hasn't quite found the EIPA formula yet. This was a poor try. 240321

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons, spices, pine needles, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, citrus fruits, and pine needles, leading to a bitter finish. Raw on the hops, and too light for an IPA.
