Falkoner New England IPA is a beautiful, deep-golden beer with delicate notes of citrus, lime, grapefruit, apricot and passion fruit. There are also distinct banana notes, which come from the Belgian ale yeast we add to the beer. The taste is spicy, full-bodied and fruity and tastes very much how it smells. Overall, it is a fresh, summery beer - a great drink to enjoy with friends on a lovely summer’s day.

50cl bottle picked up at a Netto discounter, poured into a Tulip. Hazy golden colour with a medium-sized white head. Sweet aroma with tropical impressions, citrus fruits, and grasses. The taste is light bitter. Medium body. Slightly drying fruity finish. Fair, given the modest price point.

500 ml bottle, as Ørbæk Falkoner New England IPA Økologisk, from Dagli'brugsen, Tylstrup. Organic. ABV is 5%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of orange marmalade, stale jam and pine. Malty and fruity flavour with low bitterness. Drinkable and refreshing, but not exciting.

Bottle. Pours clear dark golden with huge white head. Aroma is malt, grain, sugar, lemon, spruce, mango and hints of grapefruit. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of grain, malt, sugar, lemon, spruce, apricot and hints of tropical fruit. It has some very clear notes of Ørbæks regular malt bill and feels a bit like their standard ale with a bit of added hops. Still very drinkable.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Slightly hazy golden colour, small white foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is grains, floral and some grassy and earthy tones. Flavour is earthy, some dough and mild grainy notes with some floral elements too. Not much to do with a NEIPA.

Bottle. Murky amber, grey head. Light passion fruit cheesecake. Medium body, sticky fruit, apricot and tropics. A bit too jammy for my taste.

Bottle, 5%. Ok fruity aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is caramelly with a fruity hop note. More like a pale ale or India pale ale to me.
