Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up in town. Pours lightly hazy gold with a frothy, white head. Not bad, some forward saison yeast, ripe lemon and apricot, mild bitterness straw, wheat bread. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Alright balance on the finish, more wheat bread, a little dough, more citrus and saison yeast. Fine.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orangey dark golden to amber colour with huge, frothy to macropore, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, hints of green and red apple, pomegranate, black and white pepper, slightly waxy overtones of fruit parings (nectarine, apple). Taste is bone dry, fruity, slightly citrusy hoppy, notes of lemon, pomegranate, a touch of residual sweetness accompanies the fruitiness, well supporting malty body with a minimally bready touch, cautious hints of yeasty spiciness. Good.

Bottle from the Browarium Web Shop. Gold pour with a white head. Aromas of bitter lemon, pomegranate, vanilla, heather. Flavours of damson, more pomegranate, lemon juice. Very nice sweet/tart fruit balance. Very good.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Berero. Hazy pinkish-amber, pale pink head with so so retention. The aroma is orchard fruit with a little bit of tartness of fruit gone fermenting, dusty spicy peppery notes. A hint of white bread, but not much else from the malts. Similar taste - vague fruitiness,title sweetness, might be some pomegranate, might be not. It has that tannic abrasive mouthfeel that many fruit flavoured beers have, which makes it feel a little young and unrefined. Overall, an easy going, accessible beer, but not a huge success.
