Blant de belgiske ølstilene er det noe helt eget ved belgisk blonde ales. En magisk blanding av lettdrikkelig-het og kompleksitet. Archipelago er gjæret med kloster-gjær som gir tydelig krydder og fruktighet.

Bottle. It's a hazy orangey golden colored beer with a small white head. Some lacing. The aroma has the typical Belgian style fruityness and yeast notes, with a good dash of banana. Apple, grass, herbal notes, pepper and a touch of pine cones and alcohol. It's full bodied, lightly warming and carbonated, semi-sweet, with a decent bitterness. Banana, peach, apple hints, grass, pepper, orange zest, herbal, peppery notes and some bready pale malts in the flavor, with a hint of alcohol. Lasting fruity finish. A pleasant, dangerously easy drinkable beer with lots of nice flavors. 210611

Drukket på Lillehøgda. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Middels høyt tett skum som blir film. Aroma av gjær & krydder. Smaken banan, litt gjær - fortsatt krydder. Tørr, bitter avslutning.

Bottle @ Bakgården. Hazy golden body under a long lasting, big, creamy white head. Lovely aroma, typical Belgium yeast with esters, spices, citric fruit and a little hint of honey. Taste is refreshing fruity with esters, citric fruit, sweet pale malt, some bitterness and spicy yeast. More straight forward easy drinkable in taste than indicated from aroma. Feels this is like a crossover between a strong blond ale and a less sweet triple with a hint of a hoppy Saison. Its definitive Belgium inspired and sure a refreshing one, reminds a bit about Moinette Blonde.
