Trying this big bottle, on saturday, coming back from Paris. A decent Belgian ale, really smooth.and malty, not so sweet for this way to brew, yeasty, apricot, light and you don't have this impression to get 7.5 % of alcool, discreet bitterness. 08.05.23

500 ml bottle, batch #2354, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.5%, IBU 25. Hazy brownish-orange colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of Belgian ale yeast, stewed fruits and mild spices. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour is yeasty and spicy, not bad but really too yeasty.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, banana, wheat and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long banana, yeast and floral finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

0,5 flaske fra VP nettbutikk, hjemme uten dårlig samvittighet en torsdagskveld: lett uklar gylden med utmerket skum. Deilige kryddertoner sammen med hint av banan og tyggis i en silkemyk maltkropp. Godt kalibrert bitterhet. Dybde og smaksrikdom, og ettersmaken bare varer og varer. Mersmaken likeså.

500ml bottle, #2354, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady pearl white head, misty orange-gold body, clingy lacing. Promising floral aromas, scent of yeasty fruitiness. Mixed flavour profile of cereal malts, saison fruit, and Belgian yeast strain. A banana touch towards a saison fruity finish. Well bodied. Good drinking on a Friday eve. (Tromsø 11.06.2021).
