Cask conditioned ale has been the popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. We continue this pioneer spirit with our Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn.
Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which cannot be duplicated otherwise.
Expect this ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying. You know you're in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow.

Slightly Hazy Yellow, Huge Foamy Head, Lots Of Lacing. Smell is probably the nicest attribute. Nice Fruity, Faint Banana Aroma. Light Wheat, Grain, sweet corn. Light Body, Watery and Sweet. Easy To Drink. I see why it is my sister’s favorite beer. And since she brought this one for me from Illinoi’s Largest State Park, aka Wisconsin, It deserves an extra point or so. Definitely better than the last Cow I had. Enjoyed it. Roberta’s Recommended.

Bottled. Clear golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of grain and corn, bit flowery and spicy hops. Clean taste, medium bitterness. Crisp, dry. Quite a lot of flavor actually for the style of beer. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours clear pale amber with a small white head and some lacing. Faint of honey, corn and grain. Flavor is the same, very mild, light sweet, minimal bitterness. Light body, boring but not bad.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear yellow with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is grain, wheat, and grass. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet corn and grass flavor. A decent cream ale from New Glarus.

Thanks to Steasy66 for the trade! Pours a hazed yellow with a fleeting white head. Light grain and malt aroma. Some floral notes as well. Lightly sweet delivered with a light refreshing palate. Good lawn mower beer. Tasty

Clear golden coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, a bit of yeast, some metal hints and a bit of light sugars. Light-bodied; Pungent malt kick with some nice light, almost herbal notes with a bit of metal and some of the funkiness you’d expect from the style. Aftertaste shows a nice sweetness complete with the good robust maltiness and a good soft finish. Overall, a decent beer - nice flavours and nothing strong or potent with a satisfying and non-bitter finish - good for the summer and great for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Festival Foods (de Pere) in Green Bay, Wisconsin on 29-July-2012 for US$1.50 sampled at home in Washington on 19-August-2012.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a shaker. Pours clear pale golden with small/medium head which dissapates quickly. Thin small bubble lacing, medium body, light carbonation, and light malt aroma. Taste is pilsner malt, some cream, and slightly crisp hop finish.

A golden ale with a thick lacing off white head. In aroma, light grainy malt, oxidized, grainy and mineral. In mouth, a chalky sweet oxidized malt with grainy notes, so-so. Tasted with ProbstBlueRibbon, July 7, 2012.

Bottle. Fruity banana wheat malt aroma, a little like a hefeweizen. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Sweet malty flavor with some light fruitiness. Light spritzy body. A simple malty summer beer.
