Cask conditioned ale has been the popular choice among brews since long before prohibition. We continue this pioneer spirit with our Wisconsin farmhouse ale. Brewed with flaked barley and the finest Wisconsin malts. We even give a nod to our farmers with a little hint of corn.
Naturally cloudy we allow the yeast to remain in the bottle to enhance fullness of flavors, which cannot be duplicated otherwise.
Expect this ale to be fun, fruity and satisfying. You know you're in Wisconsin when you see the Spotted Cow.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Sweet and clean malts in the nose. Light body, almost thin, discreet maltiness and a wee metallic note. Hardly any hoppiness. 150211

12 oz. bottle from Cracked Kettle. Straw blond color, hazy, with a white head. Aroma’s of grass, hay, sweet fruit, lemon. Rather sweet flavor, malty. Medium bodied, surprising for a relatively light beer. Malty finish. I expected something like a pale ale, but it turned out more like a Belgian style blonde. Quite nice though.

bottle thanks to my father in law, pours light yellow with a pillowy white head. Aroma is light grass and thin corn. Flavor is grassy, peppery hops come into play in the finish. All in all it’s crisp, has thin flavor, but enough to keep sipping it. Actually, chug it.

Bottle pours a hazy light stray yellow with a fine white head. Aroma of pale malts and a bit like macro pilsner adjuncts. Smooth slightly tart and fruity and a quick finish. Trailer is again a little macro-ish.

12oz bottle pours a crystal clear straw yellow with a frothy, creamy white head. Aroma is cooked corn, light sweetness, a little vegetal. Flavor is sweet, lightly malty, creamed corn, white bread. Finish is a little sweet, a little watery. Not a bad cream ale, it just isn’t the greatest style of beer.

Courtesy of markwise. Pours hazy gold with white head. The aroma is grainy malts, a bit of malt sweetness, caramel malts and a touch of roasted malts and biscuit. The taste is pretty smooth and grainy and a bit prickly with carbonation. The malty notes are filled in with a modest level of lager-y-ness.
