A near black, massively dry hopped IPA. It gives off huge floral, tropical fruit and spicy aromas exciting even the biggest of hop heads. Balanced with caramel malt flavour.

On tap at the brewery. Sharp barley and sweet hops on the nose. Good black body and a bit of beige foam. Flavour is sweet sharp hops with roasted barley on the back end. Crisp finish, good oiliness on the mouth. Quite well made, works well and nice to drink.

Bottle. Murky brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, light citrus, leafy, berries. Taste is chocolate, berries, leafy, resinous hops. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Fun for a Black IPA.

Black with lasting creamy head. Aroma and flavour have some bittersweet dark malts and a fairly strong piney hop bitterness.

Can from BC Liquors. Clear very dark mahogany under a small short lived khaki coloured head. Dark chocolate, molasses, pine, roast, citrus and some floral notes. Light sweet molasses under a big dark chocolate and pine bitterness. Medium mouth with slightly soft carbonation and a lingering bitter finish with a touch of pepper. 7+/3+/7/3/15-

Bottle: Literally black, small and stable tanned foamy layer, rich nose of caramel and toffee, hints of smoke included, mild but spicy herbal to piney hoppy background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, nearly full bodied, soft; lingering - first dry hoppy - later caramelly finish, hops sticking to the palate in the aftertaste, which is dominated by a slight warming alcohol-burn. A pleasant one! But it's always the same problem, is it a Stout or a Black I.P.A...

Bottle from Brause-Syndikat, Bielefeld. Great intense deep bitter malt. Great floralness. Deep, roast an smooth in one. The hops are intense, the malty bitterness as well. Great deep and dry combination. Fantastic.
