0,5 l bottle. Clear red golden to copper with a two finger foamy head. Looks good. Malty smell, little bit fruity alcohol. Taste is malty, dry, toasted nuts, little bit alcoholic with bitterness. Okay for its kind.

Bottled, thanks guys for sharing! Clear amber-golden body. Grainy malty aroma, light green apple, very light orange touches. Lean taste, grainy, dry and malty, some brown sugar and old cereal notes as well. Okay at best, not Franconia's best bock in this shape and form.

Bottle from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Pretty sure this isn't the beer I ordered or at least the one to order... as it's a Maibock. But anyways. Aroma of sweet malts with a sour yeasty streak. Clear brown tinged gold. Thinning frothy translucent white head. Flavour has light bitterness, a big dose of malts and syrupy yeasty sweetness. Sour boozy edge throughout. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft, slightly fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Not a style that always does it for me but this is enjoyable enough. But no way I could sit and drink steins if this.
