After a few years of home brewing in our garage, my brother and I decided we should open a brewery so that we could share our beer. In 2009 we started with a one barrel system and worked on a single recipe, over and over, until Peeper was born. And now we have enough to share. Cheers!

Bottle. Clear gold with a big sudsy white head that has decent retention. The aroma is medium-soft with indistinct grains, pine, and grass. The taste has grains in the forefront followed by lemony hops and light grapefruit. The palate is light and crisp wit soft carbonation. Bitterness is mild. Finishes short and dry. Overall, Nice after work brew.

Pours hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grass and floral nights, light citrus notes. Taste has light malt with a smattering of grassy hop notes, light hints of pine. Palate is watery, slightly bready. Good.

Taste at Trail's End. Pours a clear, straw color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The nose is resin, butterscotch, thyme, and papaya. Sweet and creamy, with a smooth, mild bitterness. Light to medium body, with a crisp, clean finish. This is a simple pale ale, but quality.

So many positive adjectives to use: bright, crisp, clean, easygoing, and, most importantly, tasty. Almost pilsner-ish in its indefatigable sunniness, with a citric-tinged bitterness and mild cracker malts providing a gentle, laid-back base for the hops to play. Notes of grapefruit and lemon and pine mix with slight berry and lime zest, while the finish grows floral and dry, with a lingering hop bite on the fade. Not as malt-forward as I usually prefer my pale ales, but damned if this little Peeper doesn't leave me wanting more. Gorgeous yellow-gold pour is topped by an unyielding white head and ample lacing. Sparkly, medium-light body makes for easy drinking. Great pint.
