After a few years of home brewing in our garage, my brother and I decided we should open a brewery so that we could share our beer. In 2009 we started with a one barrel system and worked on a single recipe, over and over, until Peeper was born. And now we have enough to share. Cheers!

500 ml bottle. Pale straw gold color is lightly hazy. Rocky white head. Nice lacing. Fragrant citrusy malt nose. Light citrus malt flavor is clean and crisp. Some yeastiness on the palate as well. Notes of hay and grassy hops. Light bitterness in middle. Dry lemon peel hop finish. Refreshing, but pricy.

Bottle. Mac’s supermarket, Stowe, VT. Pale yellow. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Nose has leafy hop. Pink grapefruit. Orange peel. Buttery malts. Some piny notes. Clean and bright. Taste is clean, pithy bitter. Some dryness. Zingy mouthfeel. Dries out toward the end. Nice one.

Tap at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Jose. Strong, fruity aroma starts nicely. Fades a little in the flavor, and has a medium-thin mouthfeel.

Pours a nice amber from a tap, big piney and cirusy hop nose and flavor supported by a caramelly malt backbone. Pretty good beer.

Tap into a snifter showing well filtered yellow with a half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows lemon and pineapple on a light bed of malt. The palate is moderately carbonate and light bodied. Light flavors of lemon and pineapple with an equally light bitterness. Simple pale ale.
