Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Max & Stas. Black, brown foam. Roast, chocolate, soy sauce, coffee, sweet and a bit umami, some alcohol, bitter finish, rather full-bodied.

Malziger, trocken kaffeeartiger Beginn. Vollmundig, etwas Alkohol, würzig, weniger ausgewogen als die normale Version. Gut. 10/9/8/9//9

0,33l bottle at Vienna gathering shared by Sander, big thanks. black color, small coffee colored head. smells spices, earthy, some vanilla, peppery, lightly musty, light wood. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, peppery, marzipan, nutty, light vanilla, light soy sauce. finishes lightly sweet with notes of vanilla, earthy and spicy notes. pretty decent overall.

Bottle, dach gathering. Pours dark brown-black. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, coconut. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, chocolate, vanilla, some bourbon maybe, oak. Overall: ok.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, grains. Taste is chocolate, earthy. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation, a bit more body than the non-BA version. Not bad, but not spectacular.

Butelka 330ml (BB 15.03.2019). Niemal czarne, nieprzejrzyste z niewielką i krótką, jasno-brązową pianą. W aromacie dominuje beczkowa wanilia, leciutko słodka z lekką nutą szlachetnego alkoholu wkomponowana w nuty czekolady, kakao i subtelnej nuty zboża. W smaku bardzo podobnie czyli kakao o słodka wanilia z lekkim alkoholem na finiszu i średnią goryczką podbijaną nieco przez wspomniany alkohol. Piwo średnio-pełne, brakuje mu nieco ciała ale dzięki temu jest bardziej pijalne mimo alkoholu, który w miarę ogrzewania się piwa jest wyraźniejszy ale nie przeszkadza. Generalnie bardzo dobre piwo i jakby miało nieco więcej ciała i ciut mniej alko to klasa światowa.
