This imperial stout is brewed with 7 different malts to give a deep full mouth feel, filled with complexity of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits. We then added sustainably sourced seaweed from SHORE in Scotland to give an umami hit and dry hopped with crushed oyster shells for a mineral saline hit. This beer is Dark and complex and not for those afraid of adventuring to new depths.

Riverside Beer Fest 22. Cocoa aroma to the fore. Is that a fishy edge? Dark and glossy. Big thick foamy beige head. Medium bitter. Dark chocolate. Umami edge. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Peppy stuff.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 30/01/22. Light black with a khaki head that clears edgewards. Nose is dark malts, toffee, charr, raisins, dates, figs. Taste comprises brown sugar dusting, toffee fudge, chocolate, fruit cake mix, dates, raisins. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Ok easy sipping affair but lacks depth for the ABV.

Can from the bumble inn Peterborough. Jet black colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty and there is a nice seaweed saltiness to finish. Very smooth.
