Schwarze Farbe mit beiger Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger, an Schokolade erinnernder Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig mit Schokolade und dunklen Beeren. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Der schwarze Zirkusbär macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Zu den röstmalzigen Dunkelschoko-Aromen kommt ein getreidiger Hafergeschmack, der schon ans Frühstücksmüsli erinnert. Auch eine gewisse Teigigkeit mag ich auszumachen, die nicht ganz reinpasst. Ein wohl bemühtes Bier, das aber noch nicht ganz ausgereift ist

RB backlog, CBF 11/18. Special Edition with Cocoa & Cardamom. Toasty, licorice, spices, leather, soapy cardamon. Medium sweet start, mineralic, a bit watery and some tart notes. Slick body, natural carbonation.

Bottle sample at RBVG 2018, cheers! Dark clear brown color light tan head. Subtle toast aroma. Taste is subtle cocoa. Plain stuff

Bottle, dach gathering. Pours brown. Aroma is sweet, malt, smoke. Flavor is sweet and bitter, roast, malt, caramel. Finish is chocolate. Overall: good.

Bottle. Brown color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, earthy, light halitosis, roast. Taste is chocolate, earthy, grains. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not very good.

0,33l from tap at Klub Gru. dark brown colour, medium coffee colored head. smells lightly earthy, overall not so much smell. Medium to full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of banana, light caramel, spices, bit peppery, some chocolate. finishes lightly sweet with nice roast notes and notes of banana and licorice. quite nice one, didn’t get so much of the smell (bad glass), but taste is very nice, a bit on the sweet side, but balance is very nice. a tad heavy to drink a whole glass.
