Ein klassisches englisches, sehr bitteres, helles, obergäriges Bier. Dieses hopfengestopfte Pale Ale beeindruckt durch seine Aromavielfalt.

0,33l from bottle bought from the brewery online shop. No BB date. orange hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, grassy, some dill, peppery, doughy, light basement notes, ok but bit weird smell for a pale ale. full body, smooth carbonation. tastes peppery, spices, earthy, bit herbal, light veggies, grassy, tobacco. finishes medium bitter with notes of peppery, earthy and tobacco notes. lovely mouthfeel, very smooth soft bubbles. Flavourwise its rather on the bitter side, rather malt heavy for a pale ale, light veggie notes. but still rather drinkable.

330 ml bottle, bb 06. Jan. 2018, bought at a christmas market in Tulln.
Amber, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of citrus, some grapefruit, grass, caramel, bread, flowers, subtle sweet fruits.
Tastes of moderate citric and floral hops, with a diverse malt body, of bread, grains, caramel, honey, some toast.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, a bit sweet, citric, floral, grainy, bready, a bit toasty, a bit caramelic.

Nice, while quite unusual style example. Although quite bitter, not as hoppy as expected, with the bready/grainy malt body dominating. Therefore feels more like an Amber Ale. Still quaffable, clean stuff.
