12oz glass from tap at Beer Station Cartagena. Black color, small tan head. Smells earthy, licorice, coffee, bitter chocolate, light burned grains. Nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, coffee, vanilla, bitter chocolate, hints of sweetness, milk coffee, toffee, light roasty notes. Finishes with some roast and some sweetness with notes of toffee, coffee, vanilla and some cocoa notes. Very nice one, good complexity, lovely flavor profile, feels a lot heavier then 6.4% though. Very rich. Overall lovely though. 7,4,8,3,16

Una pinta at Beer Station pours a translucent deep brown with some sudsy, lacing, off white head. Nose has some stout notes, creamy oats, a little creamy grits too, malt, toast, some roast, hints of licorice. Flavor is quite stout like, creamy, nutty, malty, bread crust, some chocolate, a little odd raisin notes. You’d expect this fro. An upstart in the US. Creamy, dry finish. Solid.
