Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a thin cap of a khaki foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some concave lace
Aroma: sweet notes of coffee, roasty tones of coffee, balanced dose of maple syrup, some clean caramel notes, milk chocolate
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together to the sweeter side but allows a nice flanking of some roasty tones to enter in; mild finish of coffee, maple syrup and some chocolate
Texture: between light and medium bodied; between sessionable and being a sipper; pretty darn smooth along the tongue - wow!
Overall: close to being a dessert stout but honestly I can see this as an oatmeal stout and would welcome this again.

1pt can at my place in Cartagena, Colombia bought in NYC. No BB date. very dark black color, very dark mocca colored head. smells earthy, spices, coffee roasty, ashy, some light sweetness, lightly caramelly. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, spices, peppery, bit ashy, some maple, some lactose, some coffee, bit soapy, licorice, light vanilla. finishes lightly dry and light to medium roasty bitter with notes of coffee, lactose and some light vanilla notes. very nice one, maple is very very subtle, rather on the roasty bitter side, nevertheless drinks very good. 7, 4, 8, 3, 16

Fresh 16 oz. can. Pleasing aroma of day-old coffee, roasted malt, slight maple. Flavor is a direct reflection of the aroma. Nice mouth feel and not overly sweet. Maple is subdued. Coffee is forward. Nice!
