Red Farmhouse Ale Matured in Red Wine Barrels

Blended each year in celebration of our founding brewers’ daughters' birth. A solera-style blending of red wine barrel-matured farmhouse ales, each year, contains a portion of prior vintages dating back to 2017. Lively, bright, and complex, this beer is almost as unique as Willa herself.

Clear, fluorescent bright orange tinged with red, small white head; aroma of barnyard, sourness, stone fruit, somewhat smooth palate, sour flavour with a long, medium strong sour finish

Tart, woody, vinous, a bit of fruity but sweet sugars, like if you diluted and fermented pomegranate molasses. There's good complexity here but it's not necessarily hitting for me.

0,15l from tap at Arrogant Sour Festival. Copper color, no head. Smells of wood, vinegar, marzipan, nutty, some dried fruits. Nice smell. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of vinegar, wood, tannins, marzipan, peppery. Finishes dry and medium sour with notes of vinegar, peppery and some tannins. Decentish, not that much into sour browns anymore. 7,4, 7, 3, 13
