Beer Drinking Is Not A Crime is a Double Dry Hopped Double IPA featuring Nelson and Citra hops. The combination of these two hops creates a huge pillowy mouthfeel. The Citra lends the flavors of brite orange and orange peel, while the Nelson smells of dank wine grapes.

Together and in concert with your taste buds, we can at least say, "it's an act in furtherance, but no crime was committed."

Super rich orange, peach and bright copper coloured body with a dense, two centimetre tall microfoamed tan head on top that fades slowly, all atop a deep, eight to ninety per cent opaque orange glow - nice look! Aroma of melons, stone fruits, guava and rich candy-like sweetness with some floral hops, a tiny bit of bitterness, but the rich malts, tons of fruit and light alcohol comes through in the nose. Full-bodied; Very rich malts show at first, but go down easily, with tons of apricots, peaches and melon fruitiness coming next, with a candy-like fructose sweetness and a touch of hop bitterness at the very end. Aftertaste is clean, very rich and super fruity - no alcohol noticeable here at all, but a lot of different fruits, a bunch of candy and a smooth finish, but complex punch makes this a great new school IPA. Overall, great to sample, especially super fresh with a great rich texture, sweet bite and very nice fruitiness of course. Get it if you can find it and drink it fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 19-March-2021 for US$5,00 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-March-2021, just six days later.

(473ml can from boxbeers.dk) Backlog, fresh when consumed. Pours very hazy orange juice with an average white head and lace. Notes of rather fruity juicy tangerine and orange juice, mango, floral tropical fruit, pit fruit, white grape, dank leaves, grass, moderate malt sweetness and a touch of powder as well. Finishes fairly dry, lightly bitter but with some green grassy quality that detracts a little. Medium-full body, soft carbonation, no alcohol. Quite a nice modern DIPA, maybe a touch green but not really spicy either so it was quite drinkable.

Solid stuff from my perspective. Mango and papaya. Light green onion. A little less body than the Triple Crossing Glass House I just had. Pours murky golden with ok head. Clean end - no bitterness or green onion. Tap at Churchkey.
