Das Whiskey Stout hat das „e“ zurecht im Namen denn das getorfte Whiskey Malz stammt tatsächlich aus Irland. Durch das Torfen erhält das Stout in Verbindung mit den Aromahopfen eine besonders feine Note die aber dennoch an das raue Klima der irischen Insel erinnert.

Dunkelbraune Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, röstmalziger , getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, röstmalzig, getreidig, erdig torfig mit Karamell. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Tap. Dark brown color with large beige head. Aroma is light peat, chocolate, earthy. Taste is chocolate, roast, light earthy, almost chalky. Silky mouthfeel with high carbonation. Fun!

At Fassldippler, not sure tap or bottle. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Roasted, wood, some chocolate notes. Couldn’t pick up whisky. Sweetish. Too light for my taste.

From tap. Pours hazy brown to blqck with a small tan head. Aroma is earthy, nutty and toasted malt. Mild smoked, peated. Caramelish. Toasted malty. Sweet and nutty. Toasted finish.
