Bottle, thanks Werckmeister! Opaque black liquid with minimal mocca head. Aroma of dried fruit, raw sugar, toffee, chocolate, bread, light ash, strawberries and light Whiskey. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of dried fruit, toffee berries, whiskey and chocolate. Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Pretty decent.

Tap at Salon piva. Very nicely balanced beer. Only slightly peaty, though evidently. Nicely mixing with dry roasty character. Easily drinkable due to rather thin body. Very good.

DIeses mit irischen Whiskey-Malz gebraute Bier ist das, was man erwartet: es hat einen tiefen Geschmack nach Karamellmalz und dazu die klassisch erifen Torf-Noten und eine leichte Holzigkeit. Alles da was man braucht.

bottle from trade with Saeglopur, many thanks Thomas :) black color, small very dark coffee-colored head. smells smoky, coffee, light bacon, creamy, light milky, light malty sweetness, overall quite nice smell. light body, soft carbonation, light / watery mouthfeel. tastes of peat, ash, light coffee, roasty bitter almost scratchy on the throat. rather dry / roasty bitter / smoky finish. pretty good, smell is very nice, taste is very rather light (not too surprising considering the low ABV), but still rather complex. overall a bit too roasty bitter for my liking.

330 ml bottle bought at the brewery, bottled this week as I have been told.
Dark brown body, with a big, frothy, lacing, coffee colored head.
Aroma of turf, smoke, coffee, dark chocolate, some dark fruits.
Tastes of smoke, ash, turf, roasty coffee, wood, bitter chocolate, dark fruits.
Medium to light, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, quite bitter, a bit dry, smoked, wooden and with some coffee.
Very nice. Strong smokey and roasty, but also easy to drink. I would prefer a bit more body, but overall still one of the better Stouts from Austria.
