V roku 1626 sa v Levočskom dome odohrala azda najväčšia slovenská svadba v histórii a Košice sa stali vďaka pozvaným panovníkom z celej Európy na chvíľu jej hlavným mestom. Bethlen si vtedy zobral za manželku Brandeburskú. Na počesť tejto udalosti a ich lásky vzniklo pomenovanie pre toto pivo. Uvarené je okrem iného aj zo pšenice a pšeničného sladu, čo bola v tých časoch najrozšírenejšia surovina na výrobu piva. Chmeľ bol vzácnou surovinou, používali sa rôzne bylinky. Aj preto je naše pivo nachmelené minimálne a do chmeľovaru sme pridali kvety lipy.

Bottle shared at home. Deep pink pour, off white head. Nose is raspberry soda. Taste is watery raspberry soda. Short watery finish, light body. Next to nothing.

Tap at brewpub. Malty aroma, banana, light spicy notes. Tastes the same as aroma, light bitter and sour. Light to medium body, malty bitter and sour finish with spicy notes. Ok.

On tap at hostinec. Hazy golden color with high white head. Aroma: yeast, coriander, cloves, mandarin orange. Taste: yeast, wheat, cloves, grass. Medium body, moderately to lively carbonated, light bitterness. Good one.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava shared with Sander. redish / pink cloudy color, small pinkish head. smells of berry notes, raspberries, earthy, light sweetness, spices, bit doughy. very nice smell. light body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of spices, earthy, light raspberries, bit doughy, earthy. finishes lightly dry with notes of raspberries, earth and citrus. nice one, but rather (almost too) light taste. could be a bit more flavourful. 7, 4, 7, 3, 14

Tap at the brewery. Hazy pale yellow colour. Quite stable white head. Somewhere between weizen and witbier in aroma and flavour. Some clove, light spicy Belgian-like elements, flowery. Rather sweet, but overall nicely balanced and very easily drinkable, refreshing. High carbonation. Very good.
