Essen.

330 ml bottle, bb 16.11.2017. Thanks to Werckmeister!
Dark brown body, with a medium, dense, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of toffee, milk chocolate, vanilla, some liquorice, some smoke, with cooked vegetables.
Tastes of milk chocolate, caramel, cocoa, toast, sweet dark fruits, some smoke, some coffee.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium roasty, medium sweet, toasty, a bit wooden, milky, with cocoa, chocolate, light coffee.
Good. The nose is pretty strange, with vegetable notes that spoil the otherwise nice, sweet notes. Taste is better though, also on the sweeter side, but with enough roasty notes towards the finish. Overall nothing special, lacking balance, but still not bad.

0,1l from tap at Craft Beer Fest Waidhofen Ybbs. black color, small tan head. smells of caramel, licorice, bit joghurty, spices, ok smell, not the biggest fan. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, peppery, bit doughy, hints of Joghurt. finishes lightly bitter with notes of grass, licorice and caramel. rather weird one, did not like the balance.
