0,3l from tap at the brewpub. copper clear color, small white head. smells light cocoa, spices, grassy, earthy, tobacco, light caramel. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, spices, peppery, earthy, light cocoa, bit nutty. finishes lightly dry with notes of spices, grassy and peppery notes. decent overall 7, 4, 7, 3, 13

Tap. Hazy brown color with tan head. Aroma is chocolate, berries, berry jam, earthy. Taste is chocolate, berries, rather sweet, earthy, nutty . Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok.

Tap. Brown, light haze, offwhite lace. Light iodine roast, nutty, medium body, mellow, some flowery notes, chocolate finish. Quite drinkable.

Draft at the source for RBVG 2018. Hazy deep amber almost brown color tan head. Very light cocoa aroma. Taste is milk chocolate with a dry edge.

Charlie Brown Ale Für den Namen gibts schon einmal volle Punkte in der Kategorie Kreativität. In Punkto Hopfigkeit bleibt man seiner würzigen Linie treu, auch wenn der fruchtige Hopfenkopf in caramell-malzigen Bad etwas wirr wirkt. Was dem Bier an Ausgewogenheit fehlt, das schafft es aber durch seine schönen Aromenspitzen auszugleichen. Kein Top-BIer, aber ein gutes, kreatives Ale.
