Hopfenkönigin

Bottle. Quite good traditional Belgian feeling beer. Barnyard, well attenuated, spicy. Easy drinking. Does not feel thin despite being actually thin. Good.

Bottle kindly shared by brewer, many thanks. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, malt. Taste, malt, spices, yeast, very light hops.

Orange, cloudy body, with a big, stable, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of orange, bread, pepper, yeast, some vanilla, some banana, some citrus.
Tastes of bread, pepper, hay, grass, flowers, orange, citrus, some banana, some vanilla.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bready, spicy, peppery, grainy, floral, medium hoppy, a bit yeasty.

Very nice. Really quaffable and aromatic, with nice bready and peppery notes. Well balanced and refeshing, while not very complex. But still one of the better Saisons from Austria.

BB 07.09.2016. yellow very cloudy / mourky color, small white head. smells flowery, spices, yeasty, peppery, lightly fruity. nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, spices, peppery, yeasty, some grass. finishes lightly dry and a bit bitter with notes of spices, yeast, peppery and grass. good stuff, nice and refreshing.
