On tap. Black colour, beige frothy head that stays for a while. Aroma is oats, roasted malt, caramel, a bit of ash. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Does not feel heavy. Good.

Im Gegensatz zu den meisten tschechischen Gasthausbrauereien gibt es hier kein klassisches Dunkles, sondern ein Oatmeal Stout auf der Karte. Es kommt im Weißbier-Glas und erinnert farblich sehr ein ein klassisches Dunkles. Einzig der Geschmack geht in Richtung eines Stouts, aber ist nicht so ausgeprägt. Man merkt einen herben Ton (es ist nicht süß), aber ein Oatmael Stout kenne ich anders. Es ist nicht schlecht und lässt sich angenehm trinken, aber ich finde den Stil einfach unpassend.

Tap at brewpub. Dark brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark malt, light hops. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, hops in finish. Good.

Tap at the Pegas Brewhouse. Poured almost black with a large tan colour head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, and chocolate. Medium sweetness with medium to heavy bitterness. Full bodied, slick and slightly earthy texture. Finish has strong level of bitterness with an underlying and growing sweetness. Wasn’t too sure on this one to start with as seemed a little too sweet but building bitterness level made for a very enjoyable beer.

0,3l from tap at the brewpub. almost black colour, small cream-colored head. Smells spices, bread, hints of chocolate, light licorice. Medium body, light carbonation, very creamy mouthfeel. Tastes of coffee licorice, spices, bitter chocolate, light herbal, light roast. Finishes with light roast with notes of licorice, light ash and notes of bitter chocolate. rather nice one, quite creamy and easy drinking.

Tap at Moravian Homebrewers Meeting. Aroma soft, roasted, chocolate, roasted barley. Very dark colour. Taste is deeply roasted, lightly astringent, chocolate, oatmeal noticeable. Very good.

Aroma : Light malty, light sweet.
Appearance : Opaque, dark brown color. Huge, light brown head.
Taste : Light sweet, coffee, cocoa.
Palate : Medium-full body. Long dry finish.
Overall : Smooth stout.
