Maple Iced Latte Baltic Porter. A strong Lager / Porter hybrid inspired by that decadent but refreshing Winter beverage. Brewed in collaboration with our good friends River Coffee, conditioned on their freshly roasted, hand selected whole bean coffee and maple syrup. "No matter one's station in life, the Danse Macabre unites all".

440ml can. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of coffee, maple sirup, dark caramel, some liquorice. Taste is sweet-ish and dry, roasty dark malty, hints of coffee, some maple sirup, dark caramel, liquorice, a touch of orange liqueur; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, not overly complex - enjoyable.

Thin beige head on a finely carbonated dark brown body. Coffee, malt & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a thinning soft back. Coffee, malt, coca cola & berry tastes with a limp finish. Rather lacking.

Can ordered from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Aroma of coffee with with subtle maple syrup. Dark. Cola brown. Creamy beige head. Medium bitter. Coffee. But shot through with maple syrup, which adds sweetness if not overly so, being burnt caramel-esque. Sour berry edge. Gains liquorice hints. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Decent sugary but not sugary stuff.

440ml can. Pours dark, small tan head that recedes. Aroma of coffee, liquorice, treacle. Taste sees coffee take the lead with a gentle sweet undercurrent from the maple syrup. Soft roast provides a nice edge. Really nice.
