330 ml bottle shared by Werckmeister, thanks!
Dark brown body, with a big, creamy, moderately lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of bacon, smoked wood, caramel, ash, earth, some coffee.
Tastes of bacon, caramel, dark fruits, wood, earth, cocoa, coffee, some spices.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes smokey, roasty, dry, also sweet, wooden.
Nice one. Dominant smoke, but also sweet and some dry roasty notes from tbe background. Well balanced, with a well hidden alcohol. Nothing outstanding, but by far the best beer from this brewery I’ve had.

330ml flip-top bottle at home. BB 03/2016. black color, medium big coffee-colored head. smells light smoked, bacon, spices, oak notes, light coffee, a bit leathery, horse blanket, earthy. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes light smoke, sweetness, earthy, wood notes, spices, a bit sourish. finishes dry, earthy, sourish / musty. overall decent stuff, lovely smell, unfortunatly it falls apart on the taste for me, taste is unbalanced sweet / sourish / with smoke notes, the different notes do not work together so well. But overall good beer.
