Bottle at home, courtesy of Koelschtrinker, thanks a lot! Pours opaque golden with a finger wide white head. Nose is honey, floral notes, and coffee. Not sure where’s the floral character’s coming from; either from the coffee or hops, but it’s spot on. Taste is sweetish malts: honey, hay and bread and there’s the coffee too: it stays in the background but does show itself here and there. Closes with a slighlty hoppy, somewhat malty and coffee finish, has a light body and soft carbonation. Just like their other coffee bock, this is also an interesting concept executed well, this one’s less coffee dominant but the addition works better with the base beer. I preferred the other one slightly more, but it’s still very well done nevertheless.
