Our Saltwick Nab is a full bodied ruby ale with a pleasantly fruity finish. A generous helping of crystal malt adds body, filling out the fruitiness of the Aurora and East Kent Golding hops and rounding off this well balanced best bitter.

Half pint on cask at the brewpub. Medium creamy off white head. Slightly hazy amber pour. Light bitterness

Cask at the Angel, Whitby. Bronze coloured pour with beige head. Nose of toffee, walnut, vanilla, some dark fruit. Flavours of vanilla, splash of toffee, bjtter malt. Not too bad.

Cask at Brewery Tap. Pours clear golden amber with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of toffee and biscuit. Taste has a herbal bitterness. Sweet finish.

7/12/2018. Cask at The Thirty Fifth Pig’s Ear Festival, Hackney. Pours mid to dark amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark fruits, chocolate, malt and hops. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

Rochdale Beer Festival 2015. Deep glowing copper colour. Has a very heavy sugary sweet maltiness in its nose, with a less stated but still with sweet tasting darker malts
