This was traditionally brewed by the Trappist monks as a low abv beer to quench their thirst while going about their day to day monkly duties. Our version drinks light and is perfect for warm days. This is how we would best describe it... All the lights are off except for 3 candles glowing. I have Zanfir, master of the pan flute, playing softly in the background. Now the beer is speaking, it's whimsical and playful, almost naive in its beauty. It's not yelling at you, or trying to be anything but what it was created to be, just natural and delicate.

Draft at Vivant. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Aromas of wheat, grain and light clove aromas. Light on the palate with nice carbonation. Balanced sweetness from the wheat and grain, but a light peppery note on the finish. Crisp and clean and very refreshing.
