Aoltbeer is the historic beer of Münster. The beers in this blend matured on average for 10 months in red wine barrels. For this small batch no. 08-2021 we harvested organically grown Silvaner pomace from Franconia. After 2 months of maceration in the beer, we pressed the concoction and let it mature in barrels for another 5 months.

Bottle at THT March. Slight hazy light golden. Lots of typical Kemker yeast, lemon, spicy grapes, oak, wheat, almonds. Medium sweet and sour, light bitter. Medium bodied, slight dry finish. Damn I love this brewery, this is another excellent beer.

0,75l bottle at home. BB 15.02.2031. yellow rather hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, funky, some grape notes, tannins, bit rubbery, leathery, nice to very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of earthy, peppery, light sweetness, tannins, light sweetness, grassy, herbal, light grape notes. finishes dry and light to medium sour with notes of peppery, tannins and some earthy notes. very much like this one, gets rather peppery and earthy once warm though, which overlays the grape notes. a tad boozy, should be interesting to see how this evolves after some time.

Fruity sourish beginning. Mild and easy to drink sour. Grain there, the fruity grapes fit in fantastic. Mild fruity sourness, grain, fruits, wood. Long mild sour woody aftertaste with white grapes in the finish.

Süffiger, frisch säuerlicher Beginn, spritzig, nicht zu intensiv vinös, weich. Spritzig, Weißwein, die Säure zieht an, Zitrusfrucht. Holzige Nuancen, langer spritziger Abgang, Trauben. Gut! 10/11/12/11/11/11
