A transformative IPA harnessing a cutting edge hop blend from the USA. On first impression, there’s huge aromas of citrus peel, peach and mango on the nose. The flavours then morph between juicy fruit, mango, and guava and light grapefruit zest.

Big and bold with flavour, there’s a thick mouthfeel but then low bitterness and excellent balance making this a beer with the ability to match any occasion.

Can from Waitrose, Solihull. Semi-hazy orange-gold with small white consistent top. Aroma of pineapple, mango, citrus zest, dust. Taste again is fruity with orange, mango, candied fruit, light hop spice tingle. Semi-drying, medium body, modest bitterness. Lovely level of hops for a £3 can. Slightly off balance. Needed more bitterness to offset the sweetness. Still tasty through.

Hazy ornage pour with a small white head; nice aromas of tropical and citrus fruit, some hops and malt; taste is not as fruity with a bit more herbs

Can from Waitrose. Pours pretty clear by modern standards, pale gold with a thick white head. Aromas of light orange and mango. Taste is more of the same. Pretty standard stuff to be honest. Thin finish.

Can at home, 2nd January 2022. Used to love Magic Rock back in the day ! This one is from Waitrose, pours a hazy orange. Aroma is pineapple and orange. Taste is orange juice, tropical fruits, not bad, but a shadow of the original brewery
