Bottle from Mitra Assendorp, Zwolle. Quite boozy with rum barrel, syrup, raisins, alcohol, hint of bourbon, malt, caramel, cane sugar. Flavour is massively sweet and I'm not holding back. Boozy, cugarcane, it's off the charts. Full body. A rare misstep from Bronckhorster.

Base beer is very good, like a figgy dark fruit barleywine. The barrel aging is nice, and lends a nice sweetness. The problem with this beer is the lack of cleanliness.. it's a bit of a muddy mess. Sterk ams

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Zec. Brown with reddish haze, off white head. Malty, some caramel, rum, sweet, some hops. Soft texture. Alcohol on nose. Nice drinkability for abv. Medium+ bodied. Expected way worse considering the style.
Meer red ale BA!
