Sample, thanks fonefan! Hazy blushing amber. Citric nose with cherry blossom. Tart with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Citric with apricots, mirabelles and winegums. Mildly acidic finish. Unusally interesting flavoured mead.

Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy golden, no head just a small ring of foam. Aroma of light honey, light herbal, stone fruit, apricot. Flavor is sweet and quite sour, little honey, sweet and tart stone fruit, apricot. Medium body, soft carbonation, sweet and acidic finish. 200621

ABV: 7.0-7.5%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, head. Aroma is moderate apricot, honey, stone fruit, apricot vinegar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, apricot, canned apricot, stone fruit, honey sweet, apricot stones, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20210605]
