Hazy yellow, small white head. fairly mild but quite sold bodied aroma. alc. malts, herbal and spicy notes. flavor is bitter herbal old hoppy, quite malty, far from a fresh double ipa, reminds me a bit of barley wine, or perhaps a double ipa where the hops have faded. fainter notes of exotic fruits.

Bottle 50 cl. Comes as Hazy Double IPA. Pours a cloudy, opaque orange with a lacing, white head. Very weak citrusy aroma. Medium body, lowish carbonation, dry fruitiness, astringent almost quinine like. Bitter finish. Either these guys simply cannot brew a decent Hazy IPA, or they won't pay the cost of hops that's required for dryhopping. So sad if anybody gets introduced to the style through such an mediocre example. 070421
