Onze ‘Biondo’ is een knipoog naar het Italiaanse woord voor blond en heeft citrusachtige toetsen. De zoetheid wordt aangevuld met een kruidig, licht hoppig aroma en een droge afdronk. Wij zijn gegaan voor een lekker goed doordringbaar en doordrinkbaar blond bier met een ongebruikelijk laag percentage aan alcohol voor deze biersoort. Veel smaken worden versterkt door de gebruikte hopsoorten. Hoewel kleur en schuimkraag duidelijk aan pils refereren, heeft de ‘Biondo’ wel een veel vollere smaak.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Bierloods22, Woerden. Dutch brewery #443.
Clear amber with an off-white head. Yeasty aroma with some light caramel and apricots. Sweet taste with a bittersweet finish. Decent blonde ale but nothing spectacular.

0.33 l can from 'Ace Drinks', best before July 2022. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, a little yeasty-spicy aroma of honey, sultanas, peach and caramel. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-floral taste of honey, candied peach, sultanas, caramel and some vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy, gently dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Pleasant Ale, not very typical for a Belgian Blond but nicely balanced.
