Deep dark orangey brown beer, almost black in the glass, with a very good tan-cream head. Roasted grain notes, molasses, waffle syrup, liquorice, drop , toffee, coffee. Outspoken stoutacidity, followed by the roasted/burnt notes. Sourishness and roastbitter, but in the end pretty sweet still. Liquorice, bit tannines, mocha. Finish is a bit drier, but not by much. Bit of (ply)wood. Medium to well-bodied, not really thick. Good carbonation, very slick. OK stout, nothing wrong. Thanks to Joren for bringing!

Flessa Bräu Stout, 6 %, Fläschchen von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Tiefdunkles Rotbraun, anfangs üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase mildes Stout-typisches Röstmalz, Mokka, Vanillezucker, dezente Hopfung. - Antrunk recht kräftig röstmalzig aber auch deutlich süßsauer mit Vanillezucker, was den Stout-Charakter beeinträchtigt. Milder rezent, hefeweich, vollmundig. Im Abgang milde krautige Herbe, ein wenig Holz und noch mehr Kaffee-Süßsauer. - Unrundes, etwas untypisches Stout, zu sehr süßsäuerlich und zu wenig trocken röstig. (10.6.2021.)
