Rot, mild und süffig mit leichter Malznote ist unser American Red Ale alias „New Dawn“. Es hat besonders lange gereift (nämlich mindestens einen ganzen Monat lang), damit es seine rote Farbe erhält und fein abgestimmt zwischen leichter Hopfennote (Centennial) und malziger Süße daher kommt.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Koelschtrinker, thanks a lot! Kind of a gusher, pours copper with an everlasting, off-white head. Nose is oxidization, metallic notes, some caramel. Taste is oxidized hops with some caramel and biscuity notes in the background. Light bodied with a severe overcarbonation, hard to drink. 2 out of 3 of the brewery’s offerings were undrinkable, what a pity.

16/4/2022. Bottle shared with the ITFC boys at the Rotherham beer share. Courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours clear dark amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, fruit, biscuit, caramac, berries. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness with a tart edge. Moderate body, oily, quite lively carbonation. Liked it more than most it seems.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, redd-ish, amber colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, husky, malty aroma, fruity hoppy overtones, hints of red berries, some hay, husk, weed, a touch of peanut, waxy overtones. Taste is husky, mellow malty, slightly fruity and minimally waxy hoppy, hints of red berries. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Some off-flavours, flawed - not really marketable.

Süßlicher, herb karamelliger Beginn. Würzig, angenehm hopfig, aromatisch fruchtig-karamellig im Mittelteil. Leicht erhöhte Karbonisierung, im Abgang weiterhin stark herb und aromatisch malzig. 9/12/10/11/12/11
