This brown Saison is a peppery and fruity Belgian style farmhouse ale. The darker malts add depth of flavour and colour. Lightly hopped with noble varieties. The flavour is driven by the “Du-pont” yeast.

Keg @ Docks Beers, Grimsby. One of three thirds, and when I got to my table expected this was the pale blond beer, which tasted light, crisp and saison-like. It's only now that I realise the beer I thought was a weissbock is actually this. So now I'm really confused. Misty deep amber appearance, off-white head. Sweet, yeasty nose. Taste is quite sweet, and indeed, weissbock-like with nice amber malty undertones. Can't really compare to any other saison, but tastes quite nice for what it is.

On Tap At BeerHeadz, Lincoln Deep brown to red colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste are earthy rye, with slightly fruity citrus. Medium body.
