Bottle @ Fugacidade, Funchal, Madeira. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich grapes, wood, malt, little lactose acid and malt. Nice sour finish.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 29D). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L07042021 (BBF 04.2024). AROMA: medium-high acetic note with a mild fruity background note. low barnyard notes. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. low white head with no retention. TASTE: initial medium-high acetic flavor, slight wood. faint fruitiness. high acidity. finishes dry and highly acidic. MOUTHFEEL: low body with high acidity and a puckering quality. burning sensation from acetic acid. OVERALL: an example of how to screwup a nice grape wort like Muscat in 13 months.

330ml. bottle. @home, 20/07/2021 [#4.108 Global - #210 Portugal - #44 Dois Corvos] Color dorado ligeramente pálido con una espuma baja y de corta duración. Aroma: mosto dulce, moscatel, algo de barrica y levadura salvaje. Sabor: moscatel, muy dulce con un final de acidez controlada. Final azucarado y dulce pronunciado. Next one please!
