Wenn dirty, dann so richtig! Haben wir uns gedacht und uns direkt auch eine Schüttung mit 30 Malzsorten überlegt.
Den Großteil davon hat Markus direkt im nahegelegenen Bamberg abgeholt. Zusammen mit Karl-Ludwig Rieck von Weyermann, ebenfalls ein Kumpel aus dem Studium, haben sie sich eine schöne Malzmischung ausgedacht.
Darunter sind viele verschiedene Röst-, Karamell- und Basis-Malze – von Gerstenmalz, über Weizenmalz und Roggenmalz bis hin zu Dinkelmalz.

Hazy kann ja jeder, wir machen‘s DIRTY!!!

Bottle. Thanks Beerhunter111! Dark brown color. Malt, roast, caramel, citrus and white pepper in the aroma. Malty sweet roasty caramelly flavor with a hint of licorice. Smooth.

Very dark brown with creamy head. Aroma and flavour are very malty for a Black IPA. It's a good thing. Light chocolate malt. Full bodied. Moderate hop bitterness.

33cl bottle. A dark reddish brown beer with a huge most good lasting beige head. Aroma of caramelish dark malt, strong resinous hops, chocolate, citrus. Taste of intense bitter hops, citrus, chocolate, caramel, dark malt, pine, Nice!

Vollmundig hopfiger Beginn ohne große Süße. Röstig, etwas Minze, süffig, weich. Leicht steigende Bitterkeit, geringe Herbe, sehr süffig. Zum Ende wird der Alkoholgehalt bemerkbar aber nicht störend, die steigende Bitterkeit pusht die Röstnoten. Gelungen. 9/12/11/11//11

(bottle, 33cl) Dark brown colour with a mid-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and piney hoppy aroma with notes of dark and red berries, papaya and other exotic fruits, dark malty and delicately roasted background with traces of chocolate. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste with notes of bread crusts, backed by fruity and delicately piney hops; bitter-sweet and quite lasting finish. Pleasant. 04.VI.18

Bottle. Pours dark brown. Nose is citrus , pine, orange, bread. Palate is bready citrus, dark chocolate. Ok.

Bottle. Darkest brown, low white lace. Heavy phenolic hop aroma, dry notes, nutty, marzipan with chocolate, light spice, a hint chili, perfume, chocolate roast retronasal.

Hazy brown. Aroma is prickly pear, cocoa, coconut, syrup. Taste is syrupy coconut, a bit nutpeel. Much alcohol in the tongue. Ok. Smelt nicer

Bottle. Clear brown color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is very leafy, hop oils, resinous, light roast. Taste is chocolate, resinous, grassy hops. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Certainly a decent Black IPA, I just don't really get the style.
