Draft: Poured a black brown with tan head. Aroma is chocolate and malts. Taste is a mix of roasty malts.

Keg at Barrel Project 07/09/19. Vague cocoa aroma. Dark. Creamy light beige head. Abrupt sourness followed by sugary creamy bitter coffee. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Nice stuff.

Keg at the Barrel Project Bermondsey, 26/01/19. Black With a decent tan covering. Nose is mellow roast, chocolate, light black peppery spice, dried fruits. Taste comprises chocolate, dark malts, hint of vanilla, toffee, molasses. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.

Can from Drinkmonger. Black body with no head or lacing. Aroma of cocoa, coffee and hazelnut. Flavour of liquorice and wood. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Flavoursome but quite boozy.

Tap, Barrel Project. Pitch black. Thin beige head. Quite nonlasting. Mildly roasty nose with some chocolate. Medium sweet, very pleasant chocolate creamy feel. Medium full body. Some alcohol warmth later on.Very drinkable, silky.

Keg at the bermondsey tap room. A clear dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is milky roast, jammy fruit, black sugars, sticky brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, cakey malts, dried apple, fruits, smooth roast. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, moderate carbonation.
