Brown with a fleeting, frothy, light brown head. Aroma of molasses, butterscotch, burnt herbs. Taste is sweet up front with a mild, chili-like spice at the end. The overall taste has a certain pungency that’s not entirely inviting, although it never veers into proper unpleasantness. Medium-bodied, clingy, flawed at the finish by an unexpected watery note.

In der Nase Holzfass, Rosinen, Cognac, Malz. Im Trunk super malzig, mächtige Keule, Kuchenboden, dezent süß.

Shared can. rown color witb beige ehad. Aroma of caramel, toasty malt ,butterscotch. Taste is primary boozy, too much boozy. Tasty notes, caramel, toffee, fruity esters with plums. OK.

Possibly gotten better with age. Malty, boozy, and not as sweet as some scotch ales.

I don't drink enough scotch ales, dis was a tasty one, thanks Carl ! Super tasty bit syrupy but still damn delicious scotch ale. Like low abv distilled toffee.

Can shared by explosivedog: pours brown with beige head. Aroma is loads of caramel, toasted malts. Low bitterness, alcohol is well covered, loads of caramel.

Can, courtesy of a FB trade. Pours red brown. Caramel, biscuit, sweet caramel, plum, raspberry, chocolate. Full slick body. Nice.
