We thought a nice, rich brew was in order to bring in the colder months. Brewed with English malts and a generous amount of cocoa powder. This beer is warming and full bodied. As the brew warms, the chocolate character and sweetness rolls out of the top of the glass.

Super deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall light brown head. Aroma of robust nuts, earth, alcohol, grain, roasted malt, light coffee and a bit more nuttiness - all from pistachios that are noticeable. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich nutty flavour at first with a ton of pistachio notes, some good roasted malt and light coffee notes with a touch of lactose and pure caster sugar and a touch of grain at the finish. Aftertaste shows the nuts, earth, coffee, sugars and a healthy hand of bitterness from the grain and roasted malts with a good bitterness at the end that shows quite well. Overall, a nicely balanced and well-apportioned beer that shows the pistachios in the way you'd expect, but also a nice amount of sugars and bitterness - very nice to sample and if you enjoy nutty beers, this is a good one, plus a rich beer for the cold winters here! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased a few hours ago at BeerTopia in Omaha, Nebraska for US$9,99/six pack, sampled in my hotel room here in Omaha, Nebraska on 13-February-2019.

On tap at Infusion, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of toasted pistachios upfront, with moderate caramel and bready malt sweetness underneath. Flavour tastes like artificial pistachio syrup. Ugh, not a nice flavour. Poor.
