16 oz can bought in March from Orange and Brew. Solid black poor, bubbles begin to slide down the side of the glass like a Guinness, before it turns into a foamy pop head. A rather pleasant smell of chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. But I'm afraid The Taste is where it completely goes south. Kind of like drinking the charcoal ashes from a barbecue grill. I'm afraid the first impression is of over-roasted malt and over-roasted coffee. I see that on the label, they had crossed off the word imperial. I would hope there is an imperial version out there, perhaps the extra shot of alcohol would blend more smoothly with this mixture of ingredients. Maybe even some barrel aging would add more character that works with the recipe.

On tap at Milk and Hops Chelsea. Pours black. Cinnamon, strong cinnamon, coffee, cheap coffee, chocolate, really low quality coffee. Thin. Like somebody shook a cinnamon shaker over a Dunkin coffee. Bad.
