16oz can picked up at the state store. Pours black with a small tan head, light lacing. Dark malts, cinnamon, vanilla, raisins, Tasty, got better as it warmed up.

16oz can from HBS Thick oily black pour with a thin tan ring of bubbles. Subtle notes of cinnamon and sweet dark roast in the aroma. Flavors are similar, with more of the vanilla and chocolate coming through. Smooth and slick...and a lingering trailer of more semi-sweet chocolate and cinnamon spice.

Can from Tavour: pours bear black with a beige head. Aroma is shitty vanilla and crappy cinnamon. Smells and tastes cheep. This is shoddy and overly sweet. Body is weak.

Can, shared by mansquito. Pours black. Maple, coffee, cheap burnt vanilla, cherry, little rough booze, chocolate. Oddly thin body. Not good.

Bottle thanks to Toby. Pours a almost pitch black hue with a small to medium beige head. A big vanilla and coffee nose. The flavor is more huge vanilla, husky, light chocolates, some toffee. Very sweet. Solid.

Bottle from brewery. Opens without a pop or hiss, pours out dark brown, some bubbles from the pour, tiniest of beige ring. Aroma is French toast and cinnamon. Taste is more of the vanilla and cinnamon, a bit more prominent than in the aroma. Mildly sweet. Some savory notes linger. Oily body.

6/16/17. On tap at Enoteca for the release party. Pours inky black with a thin collar of foam. Aroma is cinnamon, tobacco/leather, licorice, vanilla, raisin. Tastes sweet, savory, lightly bitter, with flavors matching the aroma; a bit boozy, but not over the top. Slightly thin maybe, a bit oily, carbonation is pretty low. Great flavors and a nice aroma here, but would be better a little fuller with a bit more carbonation.
