Coffee Storm - Calm Storm. It ain't complicated. We had an outstanding baltic porter and we tuned it even further. Costa Rican coffee "San Francisco" expands the flavors and aromas.

Közepes, sokáig kitartó drapp hab, sötétbarna, majdnem fekete szín. Pörkölt malátás, kávés, sötét gyümölcsös illat. Kávés, malátás, gyümölcsös, kissé földes íz. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Finom.

Can at home. Black pour with a beige head. Nose is dark chocolate and coffee with some earthy notes. Taste is sweet booze, nutty malts, faint coffee and dark chocolate. Closes with an abrupft finish, has a light body and soft carbonation. It's flat, both in character and carbonization-wise. Knowing what their abilities when it comes to big, dark beers this is quite a letdown.

Süffig malziger Beginn mit deutlichem Kaffeearoma. Wenig röstig, das Kaffeearoma steigt deutlich an. Würzig malzig, intensiv, weich würziger Abgang, langer Nachhall. Gelungen. 10/12/11/12/9/11

Can, small stable beige bubbly head, opaque very deep brown colour, roasted coffee beans, spiciness, rusty metal, bitter chocolate, some fruity sweetness in back, a bit rough at first but mellows in the glass. Nice.

Coffee stout by one of Hungary's foremost craft brewers, shared with Goedele. Yellowish deep beige, creamy and dense, cappuccino-like, membrane-lacing and slowly opening head on a very dark caramel brown beer, as good as black, but still with visible misty wine red edges. Aroma of latté macchiato and pure espresso, bitter chocolate, candied dates, roasted hazelnuts, mocha ice cream, granola, oatmeal (actually aromatically detectable here), homemade cola, blood. Sweetish onset with thin sourish edge, dried fig, prune and raisin aspects, but never too sweet; medium carb, fizzy and a bit minerally but still tolerable for a stout. Smooth, velvety (oats!) mouthfeel, bitter-chocolatey and lightly caramelly maltiness, sweetish but not too sweet again with the added saccharose remaining in the background, developing a toasty edge without going into full-fledged roasted bitterness - instead a lovely roasty aroma from the added coffee arises, merging with the toastiness of the malts and pushing up 'morning coffee' and latté aromas. Bittersweet finish where the bitter-chocolatey maltiness prevails, along with a spicy hop bitter note and warming, vermouth-like alcohol. I have had good experiences with Fehér Nyúl brews before and this perfectly executed, delicate and tasty coffee stout only confirms my suspicion that this may well be the best craft brewery in Hungary.

330ml can. Quasi black colour with small, fading, beige head. Flavoured, slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, cold coffee, hints of dark chocolate. Taste is sweet-ish and roasty, dark malty, slightly chocolately, minimally caramel malty, notes of coffee, cold coffee, some dark chocolate, a touch of dark caramel. Oily texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. OK coffee flavours, a bit light, simple and monotonous - OK, a bit underwhelming.

Very dark brown with quick fading head. Feels a bit thin for such a strong one. It's a nice bitter Porter with additional bitterness from the coffee.
