Bottle. Cloudy orange amber, big golden foam. Dry apricot, strawberry, funky spice, light buttermilk. Medium to full mellow fruity. Melon, boring milkshake finish.

*Bottle from Schneiders Getränke, Köln. Sweetish herbal beginning. Malt, caramel, herbal floral hops. Fresh but for me the sweetish Bock-Body doesn’t harmonise too well with the dry hopped freshness. Interesting.

Lahev: Hazy to cloudy, golden to orangey, small but stable white head; moderate sweet-bitter nose of floral-peppery hops with a tinge of soy sauce and distinctive pale-malty spots; moderate dry, but not too dry bitter-sweet flavour, soft, medium to full bodied; lingering spicy-flral finish, pale malt still detectable, drier in the hoppy-bitter aftertaste. Fine stuff and much more pleasant than many "trendy" IPA’S....

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a firm and medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly fruity and flowery hoppy aroma with notes of citrus and a delicately resiny touch, backed by mildly bready malty accents. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Balanced hops and malt character with fruity and floral notes, also minor spicy hints; rounded sweet-bitter finish. My runner-up of the series so far. 11.V.16
